Fort Dodge – Agnes G. Iseminger, 90, West Friendship Haven, Fort Dodge died Wednesday, Nov., 1997 at Tompkins Memorial Health Center, Fort Dodge.Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at 1st Congregational United Church of Christ in Fort Dodge with the Rev. Dr. Paul Opsahl officiating. Inurnment will be at Eastside Cemetery in Estherville. Bruce’s Funeral Home of Fort Dodge is in charge of arrangements.
She was born May 12, 1907 [daughter of Fred and Grace Bemis Brown] at Estherville and graduated from Estherville High School. She married Charles Iseminger on April 14, 1925 in Estherville. Following their marriage they lived on a farm near Estherville until 1948 then moved into town. He died in 1951. In 1952 she moved to Fort Dodge. She became a resident of West Friendship Haven in 1994.
She was a member of the Fort Dodge Business and Professional Women in 1954 and an active member of the church and its organizations.
Survivors include a sister Jean Powell of Stone Mtn., Ga., niece Betty Wanamaker, Pahrump, Nev.; nephews Frederick Cook, Akeley, Minn., Richard Brown, Las Vegas and Donald Brown, Madison, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 21, 1997)
