Estherville – Services for Nettie M. Isebrand, 91, of Estherville will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 1998, at First Christian Church with Dr. Mike Thiel officiating. Interment will be at East Side Cemetery. She died on June 19 at the Good Samaritan Center in Estherville.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville.

She was born on May 29, 1907 at Omer, Colo., the daughter of Henderson M. and Jennie (Walker) LaPierre. The family lived in Colorado and Illinois before moving to Estherville. She received her education in the Estherville schools, graduating from Estherville High School in 1925.

In 1925, she was united in marriage to Spencer Morris in Estherville. Following his death, she was united in marriage to John Isebrand on February 19, 1948, in Estherville. She has lived most of her life in Estherville and Dolliver. She was employed by PG Gray Produce in Estherville and owned and operated several restaurants.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Estherville and the Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by sons Robert Isebrand of Estherville; John Isebrand Jr. of Estherville; daughter Audrey Morris of Dolliver; ten grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and sister, Marie Woodyard of LeMars.

She was preceded in death by both husbands, one daughter, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, one half sister and two half brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, June 20, 1998)
