Graveside Rites for P. C. Irwin
Graveside services for Perry Calvin Irwin who died March 21 in a hospital in Salem, Ore., will be conducted at 11 a.m. tomorrow.

The cremains have been returned to Estherville for burial in East Side cemetery following the service. The Rev. Thomas G. Melton will officiate at the service.

Perry Irwin, son of the late John Calvin and Amanda Irwin, was born at Vinton, March 17, 1872. He moved with his father’s family in 1882 to Cherokee county, where he lived until 1894 at which time he moved to Emmet county.

In 1893 he and the former Mable Ward of Ponca, Neb. Were married and Mr. and Mrs. Irwin farmed in this community. Mr. Irwin moved in 1947 from Emmet county to Scio, Ore., where he made his home with his son, Maurice.

Mr. Irwin is survived by two daughters, Miss Jessie Irwin of Pasadena, Calif., and Mrs. Vern (Ethel) Tredway of Puyallup, Wash.; his son, Maurice and a sister, Mrs. Roy Burt of Estherville.
