Estherville – Services for Frederick William Heiman, 76, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Estherville, with Rev. Richard Berger officiating; interment will be in East Side Cemetery. He died Sunday [January 31, 1982] evening at the Good Samaritan Center.

Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.

He was born Feb. 26, 1905 at Estherville, the son of Albert and Bertha (Zerke) Heiman. He received his education in the Estherville schools. On September 18, 1929 he married Freda Zehnder at Terril. He worked for Estherville City Power Plant for 45 years retiring in 1970.

Heiman was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife Freda, Estherville; one son Eugene Heiman, Northridge, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Arleen) Hultman, Cherokee, Mrs. Don (Carolyn) Beck, Des Moines; seven grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Sophia Kirk, Estherville.

Heiman was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one granddaughter. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 2, 1982)
