Wayne Hanson
Rio Rancho, N.M. – Wayne – Hanson, 57, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, formerly of Estherville, died at his home on Monday, June 15, 1998. Memorial services were held Saturday, June 20, in Rio Rancho.

He received his education in the Estherville Community Schools. In 1960 he was united in marriage with Jeanie Jenkins at Park Rapids, Minn. The couple lived in Park Rapids, Bismark, N.D., Glendive, Mont., and Rio Rancho, N.M. Hanson made his living in auto and marine sales.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanie of Rio Rancho; two daughters, Mrs. Lonnie (Wendy) Rakes of Rio Rancho and Mrs. Paul (Heidi) Stubs of Great Falls, Mont.; one son, Grant Hanson of Rio Rancho ; five grandchildren; three brothers; twin brother, Wendell of Estherville; Marvin of Ojai, Calif.; and Ron of Estherville; two sisters: Mrs. Gilbert (Shirley) Kittleson of Sun City, Arizona and Mrs. Mike (Charlotte) Martin of Phoenix.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Vivian Hanson and one brother, Alan. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, June 25, 1998)
