Estherville – Services for Erma Hansen, 76, of Estherville, will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Estherville Lutheran Church with Pastor Jerry Lanes officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. She died Monday, May 9, 1994 at Holy Family Hospital.

Visitation will be from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville.

She was born June 25, 1917 at Armstrong, the daughter of Carl and Verna (Cox) Feddersen. She attended Dolliver School. On Dec. 21, 1937 she was united in marriage with Asgar Hansen at Ringsted. The couple farmed near Cylinder before moving to a farm near Dolliver, then north of Gruver in 1951 where they lived until moving into Estherville in 1988. She was a member of the Dolliver Lutheran Church, WELCA and the Pioneer Club.

Survivors include her husband Asgar of Estherville; sons: Allyn, Daryl, Marlyn, Ron and Gary, all of Estherville; 17 grandchildren; sisters: Mrs. Monte (Ann) Rankin and Mrs. Joe (Emma) McConnell both of Armstrong; brothers Ernest and John Feddersen both of Armstrong and Elmer Feddersen of Omaha.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and four brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 11, 1994)
