Estherville – Services for Donald W. [Wilbert] Glenn, 64, of Armstrong will be held Wednesday, at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel in Estherville, at 2 p.m., with Pastor Paul Wiegman officiating. Interment will be at East Side Cemetery. He died Friday, April 22, 1994 at Holy Family Hospital in Estherville. There will be no visitation prior to service.

He was born August 29, 1929, in Jackson, Minn., the son of Robert and Mabel (Schultz) Glenn. He attended school in Jackson and Seattle. After graduating from high school, he served in the US Navy four years. On October 8, 1955, he was united in marriage with Roselyn Anderson at Trimont, Minn. Following marriage the couple lived in Trimont until 1962 when the moved to Estherville, where he worked for the city as an electrician. In 1976, they moved to Armstrong where he was employed at Art’s-Way and later Pick Sweet Canning in Fairmont until December of 1992. He was a member of the VFW Post in Armstrong.

Survivors include his wife, Roselyn of Armstrong; two daughters, Mrs. Brad (Dawn) McCloud and Mrs. John (Michelle) Nelson, both of Boone; three sons, Wayne Glenn of Estherville, Ron Glenn of Dayton and Rick Glenn of Boone; 12 grandchildren; a great-grandchild and four sisters, Ruth Soukup, Betty Spangler, both of Jackson, Ora Wook of Castle Rock, Wash. and Mrs. Harold (Von) Gillson, Winlock, Wash., nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 27, 1994)
