Estherville – Services for Mrs. Lafe (Clara) Bell, 85, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Henry and Olson Funeral Chapel with Pastor Danville Swanson of the Union Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. She died Saturday, Jan. 21, 1984, at Rosewood Manor.

Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home after 3:30 p.m. today (Monday).

Clara Theresia Keiter was born Aug. 15, 1898 at Hardington, Neb., the daughter of Frank and Mary (Cyrsey) Keiter. She attended Hardington schools. On Nov. 16, 1942 she was united in marriage with Lafe Bell at Jackson, Minn. She has lived in Estherville ever since her marriage, and was a member of the Union Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bell is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Betty) Yourdan and Mrs. Aubrey (Leone) Zeller, both of Warren, Mich.; 12 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; two sons; three brothers and five sisters. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 23, 1984)
