Estherville – Services for Margaret Bebernes, 90, of Estherville, will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Jack Peterson officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. She died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 1992 at her home.

Friends may call at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Friday.

She was born Sept. 14, 1901 at Elba, Nebra, the daughter of Axel and Johanna Boilesen. She attended rural Colesfield, Nebr. schools. On Feb. 24, 1920 she was united in marriage with Fred Bebernes at St. Paul, MInn. The couple moved to Minnesota in 1939 where they farmed. They moved to Estherville in 1957. Margaret was a very active member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church and the community.

Survivors include her husband, Fred, of Estherville; two sons: Daryl and wife, Lorma, Fairmont, Minn. and Eugene and wife, Coyla, Puerto Rico; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Rose Larson of Grand Island, Nebr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, six sisters and three brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 13, 1992)
