McKinley “Mac” Beaver
Estherville – Funeral services for McKinley “Mac” Beaver, 100, of Estherville will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan 14 at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel in Estherville with Pastor Arlyn Norris officiating. Interment will be held at East Side Cemetery in Estherville. He died on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002 at Good Samaritan Center in Estherville.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home on Sunday, Jan. 13.

Mac was born on March 4, 1901 in Panther, the son of Harvey and Hattie (Armagost) Beaver. He received his early education in the Dallas and Emmet County schools.

On Feb. 19, 1971 [1972] he was united in marriage to Viola [Brown] Isaac [Isaacs] in Petersburg, Minn.

Mac lived and farmed most of his life in the Estherville area. He enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting and trapping.

He was a member of the First Christian Church in Estherville. He also belonged to the Senior Citizens and the Dinner Date program in Estherville.

Mac is survived by one step-daughter, Arlene Hegan of Denver, Colo.; three step-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Beaver and his wife, Gladys of Estherville; two sisters, Margaret Seeliger and her husband, Cecil of Estherville and Dorothy Lee of Estherville; one sister-in-law, Lora Belle Beaver of Estherville; many nieces and nephews and his good friend, George Dawson and his wife Betty of Estherville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, five brothers and four sisters. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 12, 2002)
