Estherville – Services for James Alfred Coyle, 64, will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dr. John Besore III officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery will military graveside services by VFW Post 3388 and American Legion Post 91. He died Monday, Aug. 24, 1992 at Holy Family Hospital.

He was born March 30, 1928 at Maldon, Mo. the son of Clarence and Nina (Harding) Coyle and attended country school near Piggott, Ark. He served in the United States Army during World War Two and was stationed in Germany and Korea during the Korean Conflict. After service he lived in Aurora, Ill. and moved to Estherville in 1985. He was a member of the Baptist Church in West Plaines, Mo.

Survivors include three daughters: Debbie Scheffler, Illinois; Kim Coyle, Spencer and Linda Bleuchiesz, Aurora, Ill.; a son Mike; nine grandchildren; sisters: Marie McKay, West Plains, Mo.; Fern Dunlap, Hardy, Ark.; Joyce Schwarzkopf, and Ruth Wood, Spirit Lake; brothers: Pete Denison and Billy Coyle, Aurora; and special friend, Mary Knox, Estherville.

He was preceded in death by his parents. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August 26, 1992)
