Estherville – Services for Ivol Willis Clark, 99, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel with Dr. John Besore III officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. He died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 1991 at the Good Samaritan Center.He was born May 31, 1891 near Dallas Center, the son of Harvey and Deborah (Mills) Clark and attended rural schools and graduated from Dallas Center High School. In 1911 he moved with his parents to Emmet County. On April 26, 194 he married Edna Maloney at Spirit Lake. They farmed west of Estherville, retiring in 1952 and moved into Estherville. He worked part-time at Rosenberger Feed and Seed Store and also helped his son in the hardware and gas station at Wallingford. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Orva Clark, Wallingford; grandchildren: Karen Mammen, Sheri Behrend, Wallingford; Joyce Hanson, Des Moines and Maureen Clark, Forest City; six great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife n 1983; one son, Merlyn; parents; three brothers; two sisters and one granddaughter. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 9, 1991)
