Estherville – Service for Marian Patricia Chrestiansen, 65, will be held Saturday at 0 a.m. at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ron Barnett officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. She died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 1990 at her home.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-9 p.m. Friday.

She was born April 18, 1925 at Estherville, the daughter of James and Lillian (Huntsinger) Evans and attended Estherville School. On May 17, 1950 she was united in marriage with Lawrence Chrestiansen at Graettinger. She lived in Estherville all her life. She was employed at the Sioux Valley Fish Line Co. until her marriage. The couple worked at a plumbing and heating business. She also worked as an aid at Holy Family Hospital and an EMT for the Estherville Ambulance Service.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence, Estherville; two sons: Wayne and Jeffery both of Estherville and a daughter Julie Marie Ehrig of Schaller; five grandchildren; one brother, Morten “Mutt” Evans, Estherville.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter; parents; three sisters and one brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 18, 1990)
