Nancy Jo Casperson
Estherville – Services for Mrs. Steve (Nancy Jo) Casperson, 48, will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Wendel officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. She was dead on arrival at a Kossuth County Hospital following a traffic accident on Friday, Nov. 29, 1991.

Friends may call at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday.

She was born October 7, 1943 at Britt, the daughter of Robert and Mavis (Rapp) Hiscocks, Sr. She was a graduate of Britt High School in 1961. On November 24, 1962 she was united in marriage with Steve Casperson at United Methodist Church in Britt. The couple moved to Estherville after their marriage. Nancy worked for the Estherville Daily News a number of years. She enjoyed bowling and was an active member of the Estherville High School Booster Club. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Steve; three sons: Todd, Sioux Falls; Timothy, Safford, Ariz. and Troy, Estherville; one daughter Tara Casperson, Estherville; mother, Mrs. Mavis Hiscocks, Britt. Six brothers: Robert, Donald, Monte and Jon of Britt; Dean of Dexter, Minn. and William of Ventura; three sisters: Mrs. Gene (Bonnie) Doughan, Dexter; Mrs. Michael (Judy) Becker, Forest City and Mrs. Dale (Jan) Nielsen, Britt; a sister-in-law Laureen Pruitt, Ankeny.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, her father and one brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 4, 1991)
