Out-of-town Relatives and Friends at Carman Rites
Out-of-town relatives and friends here yesterday to attend funeral services for John M. Carman, held at First Methodist Church, include Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Berg and Bob, Muncie, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. Dean Oleson, Sean and Mike, Iowa City; Ben Carman, Cheyenne, Wyo.; Adrian Carman, Floyd Carman, both of Kimball, S.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Everett Carman, Sioux City; Mr. and Mrs. Ceylon Carman and John, Ellen Shearon, Mr. and Mrs. George Fennel, Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Fennel, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Shearon, Dianne, Marjean and Debby, all of Elk Point, S.D.; Claude Stickney, Sioux City; Mr. and Mrs. Theron Leekley, Mrs. Edmond Leekley, all of Westfield; Mrs. Roger Marshall, Reliance, S.D.

Officials of the Northern Natural Gas Co. and their wives here for Mr. Carman’s funeral included Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gilkison, Oakland, Neb.; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Baltzell, Mankato, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Karl Craddock, Sioux Falls; David Corkill, Minneapolis; Charles Long, Harley Watson, both of Welcome, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Bert Steinbeck, Clear Lake; James F. Reid, Paullina; Mr. and Mrs. George Frost, of Owatonna, Minn.

Pallbearers, all fellow employees of the gas company, were Claude Dorman, Kermit Gruhlke, Otto McCoy, all of Superior; Wayne Russell, Wayne Weber and John Chapman, Estherville.
