Estherville – Services for Bill Arthur [William John Arthur], 38, of Estherville, will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel in Estherville with the Rev. David Wendel of the United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. He died Monday, Dec. 13, 1993 at Holy Family Hospital.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

He was born July 25, 1955 in Estherville, the son of William and Hilda (Merry) Arthur and attended Rice Lake, Wis. where he graduated from high school then attended Jackson Minn. Vocation-Technical School. On Oct. 23, 1987 he married Nancy Rettinghaus in Estherville. He has lived in Rice Lake, Wis., worked in the oil fields in Santa Ana, Calif. and worked for Art’s Way Mfg. at Armstrong, Rohlin Construction and VFW. He was most recently employed at the Marquee in Spirit Lake. He had served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy, daughter, Angela Jean Arthur, step-daughter, Jennifer McMaines; parents William and Hilda Arthur, Estherville; brother Thomas Arthur of Santa Ana, Calif.; sisters, Jane Wahl, Currie, Minn., Connie Paradise, Wausau, Wis. and Mary Jo Arthur, Chicago; several aunts, nieces and nephews.
