Estherville – Services for Mrs. Russell (Irma) Agerbeck, 58, will be held Thursday, 2 p.m., in the United Methodist Church, Estherville, with the Rev. Don E. Johnson of Huntington United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the East Side Cemetery. She died Monday, April 8, 1985 at her home in Estherville.

Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Irma E. [Elizabeth] Strube was born Nov. 1, 1926 in Terril the daughter of John and Bernice (Spencer) Strube and attended the Terril schools. On Dec. 12, 1947 she was united in marriage with Russell Agerbeck at Fostoria. The couple lived in the rural Dunnell, Minn. area from 1947 until 1978 when they moved into Estherville and operated the I & R Drive Inn which they owned and operated from 1968 to 1978. She was a member of the Huntington United Methodist Church; the Ladies Aid; served many years as Lake Fremont 4-H Federation Board and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Russell, Estherville; two daughters: Mrs. Roy (Bernice) Jensen, Dunnell and Mary Agerbeck, Estherville; three grandchildren, Scott, Jeff and Brian Jensen; her mother, Mrs. John Strube, Estherville; one brother Gene Strube, Estherville; one sister-in-law, Anna Agerbeck, Austin, Minn. and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three infant children and her father. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 10, 1985)
