Funeral services for Dora Hubbard, 88, of Estherville were held Monday, June 1, 1981, at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home in Estherville, with the Rev. Dr. James Harmon officiating. Interment was in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Dora Hubbard died Thursday, May 28, 1981, at the Holy Family Hospital in Estherville.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Swan Olson, she was born Sept. 8, 1892, at Chicago, ILL., and moved to Lakota with her family, She attended the Lakota High School. She was married to Ed Hubbard on Jan. 5 1910, at Lakota and the couple moved to Estherville, where she has lived for the past 67 years. She was a resident of the Good Samaritan Center for the past four years and a member of the Estherville Christian Church.

Mrs. Hubbard is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Grace) Schenck of Estherville, and Mrs. Glen (Ruth) Yates of Ankeny; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Mrs. Sarah O'Keefe of Milford. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, parents, one sister and one brother. (Milford Mail, Milford, IA, June 4, 1981)
