Estherville – Funeral services for Mrs. Julia A. Sims, 85, Estherville, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home with the Rev. Obert Rust officiating and burial at the Oak Hill Cemetery. She died June 1 at the Good Samaritan Center.

Mrs. Sims was born July 11, 1890 at Bode to Mr. and Mrs. Otto [Helen] Christiansen and was educated in the Bode schools. She was married to Augustine Anderson in 1911 in Estherville and has lived here since. Mr. Anderson died in 1921 and she was married to Harry L. Sims, Estherville city electrician for 38 years until his death in 1952.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Mack (Helen) Peterson, Estherville; four sons, Ed Anderson and Everett Anderson, Estherville; Kenneth Anderson, Tacoma, Wash.; and Robert Anderson, Hawthorne, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, her parents, two brothers, one sister and two grandsons.
