Royce Shriner, 14,
Dies at Faribault, Minn.Mr. and Mrs. Warren Shriner and Mr. and Mrs. John Stockfleth and Marian went to Estherville Friday afternoon to attend the funeral of their nephew, Royce Shriner, 14, who passed away at the Childrens school at Faribault, Minn., on Tuesday, following an illness with pnuemonia. He had been sick for three months with infections and crysipelas.
He is the son of Roy and Hilda Shriner and was born at Osakis, Minn., April 14, 1924, and lived here with his parents seven years ago. He was a happy child and made friends with everyone. He was not able to go to school, and just before Christmas he was enrolled in the school at Faribault and seemed to be in perfect health. A scratch on his hand developed into infection and then Crysipelas.
His mother, Mrs. Hilda Shriner of Long Prairie brought the remains to Estherville where the funeral services were held at the undertaking parlor, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
