Richard Kephart
Redding, Calif. – Richard Daniel Kephart, 60, son of the late Dick and Leona [Beatty] Kephart, died March 23, 1985 at ReddingMedical Center. Memorial services were held in McDonald’s Chapel in Redding.

He was the NASA Station Director in Madrid, Spain prior to his retirement in 1978. He was the NASA Assistant Director of the Apollo Station at Goldstone Tracking Center near Barstow, Calif. from 1965 to 1975.

Survivors include his wife Carolyn; a daughter Barbara Anne Howie, Barstow; a son Richard, Redlands, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; one brother USN Com. Robert M. Kephart (Ret.) San Diego, Calif.; two sisters Bonnie Hathaway, Cedar Rapids and Judith Wenzel, Crestline, Calif.
