Died Suddenly.
Iver 0. Myhre of High Lake township
and a brother of A. 0. Myhre of this
city, died suddenly while at work on
his farm Monday. He was one of the
old and well to do settlers of that section
of Emmet county.Graettinger Times

A PIONEER PASSES AWAY.
I. O. Myhre a Pioneer of High
Lake Township is Dead.
I. O. Myhre, a pioneer ot Emmet
county who settled in High Lake
township in the year of 1861, and
has been a resident of the county
ever since, passed to his reward
Monday afternoon. Mr. Myhre was
in his usual health up to the time of
his death. He was aged about
seventy-one years, and leaves a wife
and eight children to mourn his loss.
He came to this county and took up a
homestead in the year above designated
and though all the vicissitudes of pioneer life went steadily
on his way, making for himself and
family a home to be proud of. He
has raised a family of sons and
daughters who take their places among
the best people of the county.
Always a sturdy, honest and up-
right citizen he has accumulated a
competency for himself and wife and
has been able to give his boys and
girls material assistance in getting
started in the world.
The funeral will be held from the
home in High Lake township, Sunday
afternoon at 1 o'clock conducted
by Rev. Strand of the Norwegian
Lutheran church, of which church
he has been a lifelong member, and
interment will take place in High
Lake cemetery.
