Estherville – Services for Ray LeSieur, 49, of Estherville, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at First Christian Church with Rev. Dr. Mike Thiel officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Estherville. He died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 1995 at Holy Family Hospital.Visitation was held at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home Friday 4-8 p.m.
He was born June 15, 1946 in Portageville, Mo., the son of Gus and Evelyn (Moss) LeSieur. He attended Portageville school graduating from High School there. He then attended Southeast Missouri State College at Cape Giradeau, Mo. After college he moved to Rock Falls, Ill. where he worked for DeKalb Feeds. He married Virginia Gapp July 11, 1971 in Rock Falls. In 1974 they moved to Estherville where he worked for Golden Sun Feeds. His wife Virginia died June 12, 1982. On Aug. 11, 1984 he married Jennifer Stade at Dunnell, Minn. He was a member of the First Christian Church and past member of Estherville Parks and Rec. Board and Lions Club.
Survivors are his wife Jennifer of Estherville; sons: Jason of Ft. Collins, Colo.; Josh with the US Army in Germany; Justin and Jeff of Estherville; sisters: Mrs. Don (Anita) Haynes of Leeds, Ala., Mrs. Doug (Lene’) Robbins of Cambridge, Md. and Mrs. Jerry (Reva) McHugh of Wardell, Mo.; and his twin sister, Mrs. Tony (Kaye) Kuntscher of Portageville.
He was preceded in death by his first wife and his parents. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 28, 1995)
