Frederick Frerichs
Mr. Frederick Frerichs of Jackson, Minnesota died at the Good Samaritan Center in Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, 1973 after a lengthy illness. He was 70 years old.

He married Elsa Andessen at Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in 1933.

Mr. Frerichs was a farmer who had lived in the Emmetsburg and Graettinger area for a number of years. They moved to LeSuer, Minnesota until Fred became ill, and they returned to Jackson about 2 years ago.

He was a member of the Lutheran Church.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 28th at Bethel Lutheran Church in Graettinger with Pastor O.J. Reitz, officiating.

Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Estherville.

Survivors include a step-son, Edwin Frerichs of Graettinger, a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Christine) Steffen of Lakefield, Minn. and two sons, Sgt. Marvin Frerichs of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Allen Frerichs of Grundy Center, Iowa.

Pallbearers were Charles Schleeve, LeSuer, Minn., Melvin Hockett and Robert Klien, Estherville, Charlie Westfall, Hank Jensen and Holgar Jensen of Graettinger. (Graettinger Times, Graettinger, IA, November 29, 1973)
