Estherville – Miss Lulu Bright, 88, died Saturday [April 14, 1979] night at the Good Samaritan Center, Estherville.

Services for Miss Bright will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville, with interment in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from noon Tuesday until time of services.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bright, she was born Oct. 3, 1891, near Kenny, Ill. She moved to Murray with her parents as a young girl and received her education in Murray schools. Miss Bright came to Estherville in 1913 and was employed by the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company for 47 years.

Miss Bright is survived by six nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 16, 1979)
