Mesa – Services for Richard M. [Martin] Ihlan, 74, of 5445 E. Covina St. in Dreamland Villa, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Chapel of Roses Larry J. Melcher Mortuary, 43 S. Stapley Drive.

The Rev. Edmund G. Krueger of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Ihlan died Tuesday in Mesa Southside District Hospital. He was born in Trosky, Minn. [May 31, 1889]

He lived in Estherville, Iowa, 35 years before moving to Mesa in 1962. He was a retired produce salesman for Pacific Gamble Robinson Co.

Mr. Ihlan was survived by his wife, Anna; a grandson, Creig [Craig]Tvedte; and a brother, Henry. (Phoenix Arizona Republic, Phoenix, AZ, July , 1963)
