Services for F.B. (Bert Burl) Kint, 91, will be held Sunday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville, with Rev. Clifford Haider officiating. He died Thursday [May 27, 1982] afternoon in his apartment at the Good Samaritan Center. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Saturday and til time of service on Sunday. Masonic service will be held Saturday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Kint was born Feb. 1, 1891 at Oelwein, the son of Del and Augusta Kint. He received his education in the Oelwein schools. On Aug. 21, 1922 he was married to Ora Mason at Spirit Lake. He was employed by the Great Western Railroad in Oelwein and by Gamble Robinson, Co. in Estherville, Waterloo, Ft. Dodge and Mankato. He was co-founder of the K&M Sales Co., Estherville. He served as president on the Estherville schoolboard; was a member of the Izaak Walton League, Ducks Unlimited, Elks Lodge, Masonic Lodge, Abbu Bekr Lodge and United Methodist Church Survivors include his wife Ora, Estherville; son Jack of Spirit Lake and daughter, Mrs. John M. (Constance) Greig, Estherville; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Verdia Brewer, Estherville.
He was preceded in death by a son; one brother and one grandson. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 28, 1982)
