Mrs. M.W. Burton Dies Sunday at Emmet Co. Farm
Mrs. Maggie Jane Barleans Burton, 78, wife of Merrit W. Burton died Sunday at the Emmet county farm of organic heart disease. Mr. Burton was born at Lowden, Iowa, on Feb. 12, 1855. She had made her home in Estherville for about 15 years.

Surviving are the husband, two sons and a daughter, William A. Burton of Estherville, Earl Wilford Burton, address unknown, and Mrs. Elise Duris Johnson of Stillwater, Minn.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at two o’clock from the Mahlum and Anderson funeral chapel in charge of Rev. Dailey of the Samaritan Army. Interment may be made at Lowden. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, November 14, 1933)
