Estherville – Services for Jeremy [Lynn] Weir, 17, of Estherville, will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Wieman officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. He died Wednesday, June 9, 1993 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester, Minn.

Friends may call at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Sunday.

He was born March 27, 1976 in Estherville, the son of Jeff and Debra (Peta) Weir. He lived in Estherville his entire life and was attending Estherville High School where he had just completed his sophomore year. He worked at McDonald’s in Estherville as a part time job. He loved hunting, fishing, nature and the outdoors. One of his hobbies was bird watching. He also enjoyed working on his car, stereo equipment and church Bible study and just being with his friends. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Deb Weir, Twin brother, Cory and sister, Kaimy Weir, all of Estherville. Grandmothers: Mrs. Ruby Weir and Mrs. Zelma Peta both of Estherville; aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by both of his grandfathers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, June 12, 1993)
