Estherville – Services for Troy Waugh, 53, Estherville, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Estherville. The Rev. John Coons of the Calvary Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery. Mr. Waugh died Tuesday [September 12, 1978] morning at University Hospital, Iowa City.

He was born March 11, 1925 at Grahn, Ky., and received his education in Kentucky.

Sept. 14, 1973, he married Mary Gaston at Crown Point, Ind. He had lived in Estherville for the past two years and was employed as a machinist at McQuay, Spirit Lake.

Mr. Waugh was a veteran of World War II and is survived by his wife, Mary, Estherville; two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Hitter and Bonnie Gaston, both of Estherville; one son, Larry Gaston, Estherville; one brother, Ralph Waugh, Columbus, Ohio; and two sisters, Mrs. Howard Littleton, Columbus, Ohio, and Mrs. Walter Jones, Lynn, Ind.

Preceding him in death were his parents.
