Estherville – Services for Evelyn Marie Thorsland, 54, will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Edwin Silrum officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. She died Wednesday, June 26, 1991 at Holy Family Hospital. Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born May 20, 1937 at Estherville, the daughter of Norman and Velma (Fisher) Syverson and graduated from Ceylon, Minn. High School in 1955. On Sept. 1, 1957 she was married to Arnold Thorsland at Fairmont, Minn. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Arnold of Estherville; two daughters, Shirley Spoo and Mrs. Randy (Shelley) Reinking, both of Estherville; five grandchildren; parents Norman and Velma Syverson of Dunnell, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Beverly) Steinberger, Spirit Lake and one brother Donald Syverson, Estherville. Services for Evelyn Marie Thorsland, 54, Estherville, were 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 1991, at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Estherville, Pastor Edwin Silrum officiated.

Mrs. Thorsland died Wednesday, June 26, at the Holy Family Hospital, Estherville.

She was born May 20, 1937 at Estherville to Norman and Velma (Fisher) Syverson. She graduated from Ceylon High School, Ceylon, MN, in 1955. She married Arnold Thorsland Sept. 14, 1957, in Fairmont, MN. She lived all her life in Estherville.

She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Arnold, Estherville; two daughters, Shirley Spoo and Gene Jensen, Estherville and Mrs. Randy (Shelly) Reinking, Estherville; five grandchildren, Jason, Justin and Brian Spoo and Shawn and Jean Reinking; her parents, Norman and Velma Syverson, Dunnell, MN; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Beverly) Steinberger, Spirit Lake; one brother, Donald Syverson and his wife, Jeanette, Estherville; several nieces and nephews.
