Estherville – Services for Albert Francis Theesfeld, 65, Estherville, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Union Baptist Church in Estherville with Rev. Dan Swanson officiating. Burial will be in the East Side Cemetery in Estherville. He died Jan. 1, 1985 at his home.

Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home in Estherville from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday.

He was born Dec. 15, 1919 in Varina, the son of Henry Charles and Barbara (Wagoner) Theesfeld. He received his education at Terril High School. On Aug. 7, 1946 he married Leona McLaughlin in Worthington, Minn. The couple lived in Varina, Terril and Estherville. He was a car salesman and a school bus driver. He was a member of the Union Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Leona, Estherville; two sons, Roger, Denver, Colo. and Brian, Dallas, Texas; three daughters, Marilyn Theesfeld, Oak Park, Ill., Mrs. Robert (Marsha) Lilland, Estherville, and Mrs. Dan (Marjie) Peterson, Hoffman Estates, Ill.; seven grandchildren; seven brothers, John and Anthony, Estherville, Harold, Emmetsburg, Ronald, Wayne, Duane and Thomas, Kansas City, Mo; four sisters, Mrs. George (Julie) Rueland, Superior, Mrs. Milton (Viola) Kingsley, Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Marie Roberts, East Moline, Ill., and Mrs. Ed (Colleen) Boucher, Estherville.

He is preceded in death by two sons (triplets), Robert and Rodney; his parents, brother and sister in infancy. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 3, 1985)
