Mrs. Stoffel’s Rites Tuesday
Estherville – Mrs. Jeddie Annette Stoffel, 81, Estherville, died Saturday evening, June 15, in Good Samaritan Center, where she had been a resident since 1971.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Reese-Henry Chapel, Estherville, with the Rev. James Harmon officiating. Burial will be mad in East Side Cemetery.

She was born Feb. 19, 1893 in a log cabin near Wallingford to Anfina and Una Johnson Berdahl. She was educated in rural schools by Gruver and Ormsby, Minn. On Aug. 6, 1913 she was married to Charles Stoffel. They lived the rest of their lives in Emmet County. She was a member of the Christian Church in Estherville.

Survivors include her three sons, Donald of Estherville, Ellsworth of Spencer, and Herman of Spirit Lake; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Rogers, Spencer; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two daughters, one son, five sisters and three brothers.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Arnold Rogers, Robert Heppner, Donald Wilson, Robert Graff, Clifford Kruse and Wayne Kruse. Friends may call at Reese-Henry Funeral Home, Estherville, at any time until time of services. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, June 17, 1974)
