Edward Elton Weisman, the son of Elton and Margaret (Marx) Weisman, was born November 27, 1950, in Redfield, SD. He passed away Sunday, March 9, 2008, at the Good Samaritan Center in Estherville, Iowa, at the age of 57 years, 3 months and 12 days.

Ed lived on the family farm near Tulare, South Dakota for most of his life. He moved to Estherville with his parents in 1986 to be near his brother Steve and his family. He has resided at the Good Samaritan Center for the past 14 years. Ed taught his family an understanding of patience and compassion. He also truly loved his Good Samaritan "family".

He was baptized in the Catholic faith.

Ed is survived by his brother, Steve Weisman and his wife Darial of Estherville. Other family members include a niece, Stephanie Wheatley, her husband, Ryan and their children, Hunter and Maddysen of Estherville; a nephew, Curt Weisman and his wife, Minde of Armstrong, Iowa and special family members, Alvin and Mae Scheffel of Estherville.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Larry and Dennis.
