Curtis Youman [Youmans], Estherville, 82, Dies at Hospital
Curtis Edward Youman, 82, Estherville, died last night at 9:40 at Holy Family Hospital after a short illness.

He was born Aug. 5, 1886, at Montana, Kan., to Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Youman. He was married March 1, 1907, to Ethelyn Idou [Igou] at Park Rapids, Minn.

He and his wife moved to Estherville in 1911, where he was a car inspector for the Rock Island Railroad. He retired in February 1954.

Survivors are his wife, Ethelyn; one daughter, Jenita Youman, Estherville; two sons, R.F. Youman, Columbus, Neb.; and Laomont Youman, Westchester, Pa.; and two sisters.

Funeral services are pending at Reese-Henry Funeral Home in Estherville. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 31, 1969)
