Estherville – Services for Sergeant Timothy Eugene Zitterich, 24, of Fort Bragg, N.C. and formerly of Estherville, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Union Baptist Church in Estherville with the Rev. Dan Swanson officiating. Interment will be at East Side Cemetery in Estherville with full military graveside rites. He died Friday, August 10, 1984 in an auto accident near Fayetteville, N.C.

Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Estherville, after 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Zitterich was born May 6, 1960 at Estherville, the son of Charles and Beverly (Sifrit) Zitterich. He received his education in the Estherville and El Paso, Texas, schools. On December 8, 1979 he was united in marriage to Lori Obert Hein in Clint, Texas. He lived in Estherville until 1977 when he entered the United States Army. He served at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., Ft. Bliss, Ky., and Ft. Bragg, N.C. He also served 18 months in Germany and in Grenada. He was a member of the Union Baptist Church of Estherville.

Survivors include his wife Lori, one step-daughter, Tanya Hein and one son, Michael Zitterich, all of Fayetteville, N.C.; his parents; one sister, Mrs. Jeff (Lisa) Juergens, Estherville; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Gladys Sifrit and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Ruby Zitterich, both of Estherville.
