Estherville – Services for Glen Edward Bradshaw, 55, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home with Pastor David Ogren of the Calvary Gospel Assembly Church officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. He died Wednesday, July 13, 1983 at Holy Family Hospital.Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today (Friday).
Bradshaw was born Sept. 22, 1927 at Emmetsburg, the son of Emmet and Mary (Rouse) Bradshaw. He attended Estherville schools. He was married to Sylvia Roberts at Sioux Falls, S.D. He was employed by Fagre Construction Co., in Estherville. Bradshaw was a veteran of World War Two having served in the United States Navy.
Survivors include three sons: Earl and Tom of Buckholts, Tex., Michael, Chicago, Ill.; four daughters: Mrs. John (Cindy) Alexander, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Jim (Becky) Montello, Buckholts, Tex., Brenda Alexander, Indianola, Mrs. Glenda Walker, St. Paul, Minn.; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Everett, Grandview, Wash., Leo, Estherville; three sisters: Mrs. Marland (Mable) Swanson, Mrs. Rudolf (Opal) Holmgren, Estherville and Mrs. Ruby Nehring, Battineau, N.D.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and three brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 15, 1983)
