Earl Roberts, 5, Dies
Earl Robert, five-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Basil Roberts of Estherville, died at 10 a.m. Wednesday [November 8, 1944] in Holy Family hospital where she [he] has been a patient for several days following an operation. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Baptist church with the Rev. G.E. Forssell officiating. Earl is survived by his parents and his two sisters, Phyllis Ann, 13, and Sylvia, 10, and two brothers, Basil jr., 9 and Roy, 7. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, November 9, 1944)
