Reinhardt Rites Will Be Saturday
Last rites for Herman Reinhardt, 54, lifetime resident of Emmet County, who died yesterday forenoon at his farm home northeast of Estherville, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at First Methodist Church. The Rev. Cloyd Bishop of the Dolliver Methodist Church will officiate at the service. Burial will be in East Side cemetery.Mr. Reinhardt died of a heart ailment which had bothered him for the past 12 years. The son of Charles and Catherine Reinhardt he was born March 19, 1903 near Gruver.
He attended school in Gruver and vicinity and on Oct. 3, 1929 was married to Myrtle Shular [?] at Fairmont, Minn.
Mr. and Mrs. Reinhardt settled on the farm northeast of Estherville where they have continued to live all during their married life, a total of 27 years. Twelve children, all of whom survive were born to the couple.
Survivors in addition to his widow are six sons, Herman, Stanley, Charles, Jerry, Eugene, all at home, and Robert of --; six daughters, Betty, --, Rose Mary and Karen, all at home [remainder too faint to read]. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August 8, 1957)
