Joan Resh, 43, Dies Monday
Joan [Cemetery records show Joann] Resh, 43, Estherville, died Monday, Feb. 7, 1972, at the Emmet County Farm. She had been in failing health since 1945.

Miss Resh was born June 9, 1928, at Ringsted to Roy and Mary Ann Resh. She graduated from Estherville High School in 1945.

Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Mary Resh, Bettendorf; and two brothers, John Resh, Windom, and Roy Resh Jr., Bettendorf.

She was preceded in death by her father and two sisters.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Reese-Henry Funeral Chapel in Estherville with the Rev. Val Hauck of the Union Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in East Side Cemetery.
