Arno Reinitz Rites Friday
Arno Gustaf Henrich Reinitz, 70, Maple Hill, died at 3 a.m. Tuesday [January 26, 1971] morning at Holy Family hospital. He was in failing health for the past two months.

He was born March 23, 1900, at Marcus to Mr. and Mrs. Karl Reinitz. He attended Minnesota schools.

He was married Oct. 28, 1928, to Sylvia Gustafson at Stordon, Minn. Shortly after his marriage he moved to Superior where he was employed by Greig and Co. Elevators in Superior and Estherville. In 1948, he moved to Maple Hill where he managed the Graves Grain Co. until his retirement in the summer of 1969. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Estherville.

He is survived by one son, Donovan Reinitz, Memphis, Tenn.; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Arnola) Wetzel, St. Louis, Mo.; and Mrs. Paul (Colleen) Enerson, rural Estherville; five grandchildren, three brothers, Carl Reinitz, St. Louis, Mo.; Vernon Reinitz, Stordon, Minn.; and one sister, Mrs. Harry Scott, Wichita Falls, Tex.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and a number of brothers and sisters.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Estherville, with the Rev. W.H. Discher officiating. Burial will be in East Side Cemetery.

Friends may call at Reese-Henry Funeral Home from 9 a.m. Thursday until noon Friday, when the casket will be taken to the church. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 27, 1971)
