Mrs. Arno Reinitz
Superior – Mrs. Arno Reinitz, wife of a former business man of Superior, died at the Holy Family hospital Jan. 5 after an illness of almost a year.

Her husband was manager of the Farmer Co-operative and Greig Elevators. In 1948, he became manager of Maple Hill elevator in Estherville.

Mrs. Reinitz was born Feb. 17, 1896 in Storden, Minn. and was reared there through childhood. Her maiden name was Sylvia Gustaphson [Gustafson]. In 1928 she was married to Arno Reinitz and the couple moved to Superior. Mrs. Reintiz was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran church.

She is survived by her husband, a son, Donovan of Memphis, Tenn., two daughters, Arnela, a school teacher at Graettinger, and Colleen at home, one sister, at Green City, Mo. and two brothers, South Gate, Calif. and Denver, Colo. She is preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and two brothers.

The funeral was held Friday and burial was in the East Side cemetery. (Spirit Lake Beacon, Spirit Lake, IA, January 15, 1953]
