Null Service Set Here On Monday
Family services will be held for Susie Null, 75, at 11 a.m. Monday at the Reese Funeral Chapel.

Public services will be held at 2 p.m. in the Reese chapel. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday after 9 a.m. until time of service Monday. The casket will not be opened for the service. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery.

Susie Bell Null, was born Feb. 15, 1890, at Mason City, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hass. She received her education in Mason City schools.

She was married to William Lloyd Null, Dec. 20, 1919, at Demoplis, Ala. They moved to Estherville in the mid-1930’s.

She was a member of the Christian Church of Estherville.

Mrs. Null is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Douglas (Geraldine) Smith of rural Estherville, and one son, Harold Bacon, of Davis, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Clyde Atkinson of Robinsdale, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and her parents.

Mrs. Null had been a resident of the Good Samaritan Home and had been in failing health since she fell last September and broke her hip. She died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday [March 25, 1965]. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 27, 1965)
