Mrs. Noble Dies at 61 at Dickinson
Mrs. Charles Noble, 61, of rural Estherville, died yesterday at 3:15 p.m. at the Dickinson County Memorial Hospital as a result of a heart condition.Mrs. Charles (Irene) Noble, was born Jan. 29, 1904, in Estherville. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George S. Rogers. She received her schooling in Estherville area schools.
Mrs. Noble was married to Charles Noble in Estherville, Sept. 11, 1929. Following their marriage they farmed for eight years in Plymouth County. They then went to Winnebago, Minn., where they farmed for 18 years before moving to a farm near Dolliver and farming for six years. For the past year they have lived on a farm near Superior.
Mrs. Noble was a life-long member of the Methodist church and the WSCS circles of the church.
She is survived by her husband; one son, Gerald of Cedar Rapids; one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Janice) Dickenson, of Fairmont, Minn.; two grandchildren, and one brother, Weston Rogers of Estherville. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville, Rev. Fred. W. Ortmeyer, officiating.
Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home from any time on Sunday until time of service. Burial will be in the Eastside Cemetery. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 3, 1965)
