Mrs. M.S. Sevatson Rites Set
Funeral services for Mrs. M.S. Sevatson will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Sternborg funeral home and at 2 p.m. at the Wallingford Lutheran church. The Rev. C.B. Gunderson will officiate. Burial will be in Eastside cemetery.

Josephine Albertine Bloomquist was born Oct.4, 1881 near Sisler. She died early yesterday morning at her home, 120 North 17th street.

Her parents moved to Wallingford when she was young and she had lived in this area since that time.

She married M.S. Sevatson Nov. 21, 1899 at Wallingford. They lived in Wallingford and Estherville. Mr. Sevatson retired as a stock buyer several years ago.

Mrs. Sevatson was confirmed in the Wallingford Lutheran church June 5, 1938 [1928?]. She recently received a life membership in the W.M.F.

Survivors include her husband, a son, Dr. S.M. Sevatson of Estherville, three sisters, Mrs. Axel Lyon of Dunnell, Minn.,Mrs. Alma Barlow of Estherville and Mrs. .Harry Ziemer of Fairmont, Minn., and two grandchildren.

Six nephews will serve as pallbearers. They are Milton Barlow of Estherville, Carl Barlow of Dunnell, Minn., Stanley and Russell Ziemer of Fairmont and Robert Lyon and Axel Lyon Jr. of Dunnell. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 22, 1955)
