Mrs. Frankie Evans went to Estherville Sunday to attend the funeral services at the Christian church for her uncle, Spencer Morris, 76, who died Thursday [January 20, 1949] from a heart ailment. Mr. Morris, who at one time lived in Emmetsburg, was a brother of the late Frank Morris here. He leaves a wife and two daughters. (Reporter, Emmetsburg, IA, January 25, 1949)
