Mrs. Elmer Moore Dies
Mrs. Elmer Moore, 67, lifetime resident of this area, died at – a.m. today at Holy Family Hospital where she had been hospitalized for the past month.

Mrs. Moore was born Sept. 13 [?], 1891 at Spirit Lake, the daughter of George W. and Lydia A. Bowman. She moved with her family to Estherville while a child and received her education in the Estherville schools.

She was married Dec. 2, 1909 to Elmer Moore, local barber. She was a member of First Methodist Church and a member of Pythian Sisters.

Survivors include her husband, one son, Lawrence H., of Jerome, Idaho, one daughter, Margaret of Duluth, Minn., one granddaughter, Judy Lynn, a sister, Mrs. C.A. (Metta) Randolph, Estherville, and a brother, Lawrence H. of Duluth.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Funeral services are pending arrival of distant relatives and will be announced in tomorrow’s Daily News. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 3, 1958)

Out-of-town Relatives at Rites
Out-of-town relatives here Monday to attend funeral services for Mrs. Elmer E. Moore included Lawrence Moore, Jerome, Idaho, Margaret Moore and Lawrence Bowman, both of Duluth, Min., Gene Randolph, Marion, Mrs. Inez Goelz, Mason City, and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Moore, Owatonna, Minn. Tuesday Margaret Moore, Mrs. Goelz and Mrs. Claude Randolph took Lawrence Bowman, bother of Mrs. Randolph and the late Mrs. Moore, to his home in Duluth, Minn. They visited at St. Mary’s hospital there with Mrs. Bowman who has been a patient in the hospital for some time. The three women returned to Estherville last night.
