Ella Clayton Rites Set
Funeral services for Ella Clayton, 86, who died Saturday morning at Holy Family Hospital, are to be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, the Rt. Rev. Monsignor James H. Duhigg officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s cemetery. Rosary will be said at 8:30 p.m. today at Fuhrman Funeral Home.

Ella Clayton was born Aug. 19, 1877, at Appleton, Minn., the daughter of Henry and Bridget Clayton. She came with her parents to Estherville in 1898 and had made her home here since that time.

She was one of five children and had three sisters, Sylvia, Agnes and Margaret, and one brother, James, all of whom preceded her in death.

Miss Clayton worked for the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. here for many years. Since March, 1962 she had been a resident patient at Holy Family Hospital.
