Geraldine Ramsey, 11 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ramsey of Gruver, died Monday at 7:20 p.m. Death was attributed to leukemia. The girl was taken to Rochester, Minn., two weeks ago Tuesday for an examination by physicians.

Geraldine was born Feb. 4, 1933, in Gruver. She is a member of the Presbyterian Sunday school at Gruver and was a pupil in the Gruver seventh grade where she was active in all school activities, especially athletics.

Geraldine is survived by her parents, two sisters, Mildred, 15, and Jane 2 and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Krieger and Mr. and Mrs. James Ramsey of Gruver.
Funeral services were Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at the Ramsey home and at 2 at the Gruver church with the Rev. Albert Husted in charge. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, Emmet County, IA. Jan 25, 1945)
