ESTHERVILLE - Mass of Christian Burial for Betty Jean Reynolds, 84, of Estherville will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Estherville with Father Brian Hughes as Celebrant. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville. Vigil Service will be 7 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2010, at Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville. Interment will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Estherville.

She died Monday, May 3, 2010, at Avera Holy Family Health in Estherville.

Betty Jean Reynolds, the daughter of Melvin C. and Mabel (Yard) Beaver, was born Feb. 23, 1926, in Estherville.

She received her education in Estherville schools, graduating from Estherville High School.

On May 12, 1951 she was united in marriage to Francis M. (Mike) Reynolds at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Estherville. Following their marriage the couple made their home in Estherville. Betty Jean was school board secretary for the Estherville Community Schools for 38 years.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Estherville.

Left to cherish Betty Jean's memory are her husband, Mike, of Estherville and daughter, Michele Reynolds, and her husband, Jim Stockton, of Minneapolis, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
